In the previous version of my hair care post, we dealt with dandruff issue. Now lets challenge another issue faced by most of us (girls and boys alike) – HAIRFALL. Spent too many nights worrying about thinning hair? No please don’t it will only add to the problem. It is scientifically proven, that stress adds to the problem of hair fall and does little to address the same.
First understand the fact that hairfall twice a year is natural for new hair to grow from hair follicles. Rainy season is one of the common time when one will experience hairfall. To manage the same below are some of the basic steps one can take:
- Use mild shampoo, GK, Dove and wash hair twice a week to keep them clean.
- Apply hair lotion after wash to control the frizzyness of hair. More frizzy they are more likely they are to tangle and break.
- Use wide teeth comb, preferably Vega, to comb your hair only once they are semi or fully dried.
- In case you have excess money and time at hand, please take hair spa at the start of rainy season – Wella is preferred.
- Also in case you are due your haircut, this season is the best as it will make your hair more manageable.
In case you are already experiencing thinning hairline start applying onion juice on clean scalp for about an hour before washing off the same using mild shampoo. Onion is highly beneficial in not only promoting hair growth but also fighting any kind of scalp problems, dandruff being one of them. Again a word of caution do not overuse onion juice – application of onion juice should not be done more than once a week.
